Narrative

Large mesa north of Abernethy Flats, between Crame Col and Bibby Point, Ulu Peninsula, James Ross Island. Named after Dr Joanne S. Johnson (b.1977), BAS geochemist. Her work lead to a completely new proxy for recognising past ice sheets using alteration mineral chemistry.
