This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A steep valley glacier fed by highland ice adjacent to Fukushima Peak on the summit plateau of Vinson Massif, Sentinel Range. The glacier flows westward from Vinson Massif along the north side of Mount Slaughter into Nimitz Glacier. Named by US-ACAN (2006) after Andrea Donnellan, Satellite Geodesy and Geodynamics Systems Group, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, involved from the mid 1990s in research projects involving the use of GPS in studies of earth crustal deformation in Southern California and also in Antarctica.
