This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small, sharp peak (4551 m) at the SE extremity of the summit plateau of Vinson Massif, 2.7 mi ESE of Mount Vinson. Named by US-ACAN (2006) after Brian Marts, member of the 1966-67 American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition that made the first ascent of Vinson Massif and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range.
