This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A broad glacier flowing N into the SW arm of Murphy Inlet, Thurston Island. Named by US-ACAN after William Warr, Aviation Machinist's Mate in the Eastern Group of USN Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Warr and five others survived the Dec. 30, 1946 crash of a PBM Mariner seaplane on adjacent Noville Peninsula.
