Formerly Borchgrevink Canyon. Accredited by: SCGN (May 1989). Named after Norwegian Carsten Borchgrevink. He, with the Captain of the "Antarctic", were the first to set foot on the Antarctic Continent in 1895, and he was the first to over-winter in the Antarctic. Formerly, Borchgrevink Canyon.
