This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 4 km long glacier on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands draining the NW slopes of Imeon Range. Flowing SW of Drinov Peak and W of Varshets Saddle southwestward along the NW slopes of Antim Peak into Drake Passage S of Villagra Point. Bulgarian mapping in 2008. Named after the settlement of Chuprene in Northwestern Bulgaria.
