This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 1750 m in Imeon Range on Smith Island, South Shetland Islands. Situated 2 km NE of Antim Peak and 1.9 km S of Drinov Peak. Overlooking Chuprene Glacier to the NW, and Krivodol Glacier to the SW and S. Bulgarian mapping in 2008 Named after the Bulgarian settlements of Slatina in Montana, Lovech, Plovdiv, Silistra and Sofia regions (the last one now part of the city of Sofia).
