This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The twin rock at the N entrance to McFarlane Strait in the South Shetland Islands extending 170 m in NW-SE direction and 70 m wide, with its two parts separated by a 30 m wide passage. Situated 1.6 km NE of Pyramid Island, 5.7 km NE of Williams Point on Livingston Island, and 5.7 km NW of Duff Point on Greenwich Island. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement and medieval fortress of Rusokastro in Southeastern Bulgaria.
