This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the W coast of Astrolabe Island in Bransfield Strait situated 1.15 km NW of Sherrell Point and 3.35 km SE of Raduil Point. Forming the SE side of the entrance to Mokren Bight. Named after the settlement of Gega in Southwestern Bulgaria.
