This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 9 km long and 11 km wide glacier draining the W slopes of Lassus Mountains on Alexander Island. Flowing westwards to enter Lazarev Bay S of the SW ridge of Mount Wilbye and N of Faulkner Nunatak. Named after the settlement and spa resort of Narechen in Southern Bulgaria.
