This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 3 km long and 2.8 km wide glacier draining the E slopes of the Trojan Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Flowing northeastwards into Fournier Bay S of Predel Point and N of Madzharovo Point. Named after the Thracian singer Thamyris in Homer"s Iliad.
