This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 1.93 km wide cove indenting for 2.18 km the NE coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Entered S of Frolosh Point and N of Deliradev Point. British mapping in 1980. Named after the Galata Point on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
