A cluster of three islands, each less than a mile long, lying about 34 miles northwest of Mount Bayonne, Alexander Island, in the southwest part of Marguerite Bay. Nautical charts have indicated the possibility of rocks or small islands in the vicinity. The three islands were sighted and positioned from the Research Vessel Lawrence M. Gould (Captain Joseph Abshire) during the 2009 cruise. Named by ACAN (2009) after the vessel which has worked in the U.S. Antarctic Program since its commission in 1997.
