This name originates from United Kingdom. It is part of the Gazetteer of the British Antarctic Territory and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Glacier flowing eastwards from the Douglas Range into George VI Sound, between Mount Edred and Lamina Peak to the north and Belemnite Peak to the south. Named after the largest known dwarf planet in the solar system, which was discovered by a team from the Palomar Observatory, California, on January 5, 2005 (APC 2010).
