This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 5 km long and 3.5 km wide glacier draining the E slopes of the Trojan Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago NE of Paris Peak. Flowing northeastwards into the head of Patagonia Bay W of Thompson Peninsula. Named after the settlement of Lipen in Northwestern Bulgaria. Approved on June 3, 2010.
