This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 12 km long and 10 km wide glacier on Pernik Peninsula, Loubet Coast in Graham Land, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated NE of Stefan Ice Piedmont and W of Solun Glacier. Draining the N slopes of Protector Heights, and flowing northwards into Darbel Bay E of Madell Point. British mapping in 1976. Named after the Czech Bulgarian archeologist Karel Škorpil (1859-1944).
