This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mountainous peninsula projecting from Fallières Coast, Graham Land 11.4 km in W direction between Bourgeois Fjord to the N and W, and Dogs Leg Fjord to the S. Extending 15.9 km between Thompson Head to the N and Bottrill Head to the SW. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of German in Western Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
