This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered hill rising to 946 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Situated in the N foothills of Detroit Plateau, 1.63 km NNW of Mount Schuyler, 4.07 km E of Zlatolist Hill, 12.95 km S of Mount Ignatiev in Srednogorie Heights, and 1.9 km WSW of Sirius Knoll. Surmounting Russell West Glacier to the N. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Chelopech in Western Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
