This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The partly ice-free peak rising to 850 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Situated in the SE foothills of Louis-Philippe Plateau, 2.69 km S by W of Hochstetter Peak, 10.06 km WNW of Levassor Nunatak, 3.87 km N of Chochoveni Nunatak and 6.61 km NE of Drenta Bluff. Surmounting Cugnot Ice Piedmont to the E and S. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Smin in Northeastern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
