This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The heights rising to 1500 m (Glavinitsa Peak) at the base and in the interior of German Peninsula on Fallières Coast, Graham Land. Extending 18.5 km in NE-SW direction and 13.7 km in E-W direction. Bounded by Bourgeois Fjord to the N and W, Dogs Leg Fjord to the S, and to the E by a glacier draining both northwards into Bourgeois Fjord and southwards into Dogs Leg Fjord. British mapping in 1978. Named after the town of Rudozem in Southern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
