This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The peak rising to 1600 m in Petvar Heights, SE Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 8.6 km E of Miller Peak, 8.1 km S of Long Peak and 2.52 km N of Malkoch Peak. Overlooking Carey Glacier to the W, Divdyadovo Glacier to the N, and Rutford Ice Stream to the E. US mapping in 1988. Named after the Bulgarian cartographer Aleksandar Ruset (1810-1861).
