This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 1420 m in Petvar Heights, SE Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 8.02 km E by S of Marze Peak, 6.04 km SSE of Miller Peak, 5.83 km WSW of Malkoch Peak and 9.5 km NW of Mountainview Ridge. Overlooking Carey Glacier to the E and Hudman Glacier to the W. US mapping in 1988. Named after the Bulgarian prince and military commander Fruzhin (14-15th century).
