This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The peak rising to 1240 m in Flowers in E Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 11.29 km E by N of Mount Havener, 13.95 km SSE of Dickey Peak and 8.31 km NE of Taylor Spur. Surmounting Rutford Ice Stream to the E and Sikera Valley to the W. US mapping in 1988. Named after the settlement of Gubesh in Western Bulgaria.
