This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 2200 m in Veregava Ridge in central Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 5.26 km N of Mount Waldron, 9.46 km E by N of Mount Segers, 5.71 km SSE of Mount Farrell and 4.15 km NW of Kushla Peak. Surmounting Orizari Glacier to the SSW, Dater Glacier to the W and N, and Berisad Glacier to the E. US mapping in 1988. Named after the settlement of Sipey in Southern Bulgaria.
