This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 7.5 km long and 2.7 km wide glacier on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Draining the SE slopes of Detroit Plateau, flowing between Grivitsa Ridge and Kableshkov Ridge, and entering Odrin Bay in Weddell Sea 5 km NW of Fothergill Point. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Zaychar in Southeastern Bulgaria.
