This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 800 m in the SE foothills of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated in the E part of Grivitsa Ridge, 2.6 km ESE of Batkun Peak, 9.16 km SSW of Gusla Peak, 7.69 km NNW of Fothergill Point and 4.71 km NE of Kableshkov Ridge. Surmounting Darvari Glacier to the N and E, and Zaychar Glacier to the SW and S. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Marash in Northeastern Bulgaria.
