This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky peak rising to 1100 m at the S extremity of Wolseley Buttress on the SE side of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated between Albone and Edgeworth Glaciers, 5.14 km SW of Bolgar Buttress, 10.38 km NW of Dolen Peak, 8.73 km NE of Trave Peak and 5.74 km ESE of Paramun Buttress. Surmounting Albone Glacier to the E and Edgeworth Glacier to the W. Named after the settlement of Kopriva in Western Bulgaria.
