This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The partly ice-covered peak rising to 850 m in the SE foothills of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated 6.92 km SSW of Paramun Buttress, 6.92 km W by S of Chipev Nunatak and 11.28 km NE of Darzalas Peak. Precipitous and partly ice-free W and N slopes. Overlooking Edgeworth Glacier to the N, E and S. Named after the settlement of Trave in Southern Bulgaria.
