A point that is the northeastern extremity of Mount Doorly, ì approximately 6.7 miles northwest of King Pin, and approximately ì 6.25 miles north-northeast of Lake Brownworth. Named by U.S.-ACAN ì for Susanne M. LaFratta-Decker of the National Science Foundation ì (NSF) who has served in numerous prominent roles in support of ì the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) beginning in 1996, rising in ì 2003 to Deputy Section Head for the Polar Research Support ì Section of the NSF"s Office of Polar Programs (OPP), and in 2005, ì to Senior Advisor to the Director of OPP. Ms. LaFratta served in ì Antarctica during seven austral summer seasons.
