This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky, partly ice-free peak rising to 600 m in Poibrene Heights on Oscar II Coast, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, 4.67 km S of Ravnogor Peak, 4.07 km W of Tikale Peak, 6.4 km NW of Kunino Point and 5.15 kmE of Diralo Point. Overlooking Exasperation Inlet to the SW. Named after Nikolay Mihnevski, meteorologist in the first Bulgarian Antarctic campaign in 1987/88.
