This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small proglacial lake which is adjacent to Heito glacier in the southern part of Langhovde. Named Tennoike after its upstream location with respect to Kamikama (upper kettle). Please note the map still uses the previous Japanese Roman letter "Kami-Kama".
