This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The heights rising to 1700 m (Mount Persenk and Mount Moriya) on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Extending 15.5 km in E-W direction and 9.7 km wide. Bounded by Rogosh Glacier to the NW and S, Zlokuchene Glacier to the NE and Weddell Sea to the E. Linked by Mrahori Saddle to Kyustendil Ridge to the N. British mapping in 1978. Named after the city of Lovech in Northern Bulgaria.
