This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The glacier extending 16 km in N-S direction and 7.5 km in E-W direction on the E side of Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Draining the NE slopes of Flowers Hills to flow into Rutford Ice Stream to the ENE and Ellen Glacier to the N. US mapping in 1988. Named after the medieval fortress of Lardeya in Southeastern Bulgaria.
