This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered point on the N side of the entrance to Yamforina Cove on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 11.38 km E of St. Gorazd Peak, 4.3 km S of Whiteside Point, and 4.55 km NNE of Kesten Point. Formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002. Antarctic Digital Database mapping 2012. Named after the settlement of Daskot in Northern Bulgaria.
