This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rock off Snow Island in the South Shetland Islands situated 4.4 km W of Irnik Point and 3.85 km NE of Byewater Point. Extending 120 m in SE-NW direction and 100 m wide. The feature is the largest and southeasternmost in a group of several rocks extending 1.84 km in SE-NW direction and 1 km in SW-NE direction. British mapping in 1968, and Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the ancient town of Bizone in Northeastern Bulgaria.
