This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The partly ice-free point on the S side of the entrance to Yamforina Cove on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 4.6 km N of Foyn Point, 9 km E of Tikale Peak, and 4.55 km SSW of Daskot Point. Formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002. Antarctic Digital Database mapping 2012. Named after the settlement of Kesten in Southern Bulgaria.
