This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 6 km long and 3 km wide glacier in Sullivan Heights on the E side of Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Draining the NE slopes of Mount Farrell and the SE slopes of the ridge of Mount Levack, and flowing eastwards from Zmeevo Pass to join Dater Glacier W of Dickey Peak in Flowers Hills. US mapping in 1988. Named after the medieval fortress of Strinava in Northern Bulgaria.
