This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky, partly ice-free peak rising to 600 m at the SE extremity of Zagreus Ridge on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 3.05 km SSE of Govedare Peak, 10.43 km WSW of Mount Quandary, and 10.5 km N of Pirne Peak. Surmounting Hektoria Glacier to the NE and SE, and Paspal Glacier and Green Glacier to the W and S. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlements of Gorna (Upper) and Dolna (Lower) Sekirna in Western Bulgaria.
