This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The narrow rocky ridge extending 45 km from the foothills of Madrid Dome to the SW to Delusion Point to the E, 5.7 km wide, and rising to 1300 m (Ishirkov Crag) in Aristotle Mountains on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Surmounting Crane Glacier to the NW and N, Spillane Fjord to the NE, and Sexaginta Prista Bay, Mapple Glacier and the head of Melville Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after the settlement of Arkovna in Northeastern Bulgaria.
