This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The partly ice-free peak rising to 850 m in the SE foothills of Forbidden Plateau on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 8 km SSE of Mount Walker, 3.8 km WSW of Duhla Peak, and 7 km NE of Dugerjav Peak. Surmounting Paspal Glacier to the W and S, and one of its tributaries to the E. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlements of Iskra in Northern, Northeastern, Southeastern and Southern Bulgaria.
