This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky peak rising to 1300 m in Austa Ridge on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 5.9 km SSW of Yordanov Nunatak, 9.14 km W of Caution Point, and 5.5 km NNW of Mount Birks. Surmounting Jorum Glacier to the N, and Veselie Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after the Bulgar town of Humar in Northern Caucasus (2nd-7th century).
