This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 3.3 km wide cove indenting for 3 km Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land W of Cape Worsley. Formed as a result of the retreat of Aleksiev Glacier and Kladorub Glacier in the early 21st century. British mapping in 1978. Approved on 27 February 2013.
Named after the Bulgarian sebastocratorissa Desislava (13th century).
