Underwater plateau 24 m deep. 800 yards from Spanish Antarctic ì Station Gabriel de Castilla; 29 nautical miles from Collins Point ì (Neptunes Bellows). In Port Foster, Deception Island, South ì Shetland Islands. Named for the Spanish Oceanographic Research ì Ship Las Palmas, which has been anchoring in this place at least ì 20 times in every 11 Antarctic expeditions supporting the Spanish ì Station Gabriel de Castilla.
