This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The broad ice-covered peak with precipitous rocky slopes rising to 650 m in Bigla Ridge on Foyn Coast, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 13 km SSW of Balder Point, 7.65 km NW of Spur Point and 12.64 km NE of Varad Point. Surmounting Beaglehole Glacier to the W and Cabinet Inlet to the NE. British mapping in 1974. Named after Todor Popov, physician at St. Kliment Ohridski base during the 1996/97 and 1997/98 seasons.
