This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rocky island in Boisguehenneuc Bay lying 650 m off the NW coast of Liège Island in the Palmer Archipelago. The feature is 350 m long in E-W direction and 120 m wide. Situated 2.7 km SW of Moureaux Point and 5.38 km ENE of Bebresh Point. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Raklitsa in Southeastern Bulgaria.
