This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to 700 m in Brugmann Mountains on Liège Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 2.14 km W by S of Balkanov Peak, 1.67 km N of Mount Kozyak and 3.02 km SE of Bebresh Point. Surmounting Shterna Glacier to the N, Coria Cove to the ESE and Sigmen Glacier to the WSW. British mapping in 1978. Named after Mihail Vazharov, mechanic at St. Kliment Ohridski base in 1999/2000 and subsequent seasons, and base commander during part of the 2005/06 season.
