This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 4.3 km wide bay indenting for 3.2 km the N coast of Krogh Island in Biscoe Islands. Entered E of Edholm Point and W of Kuvikal Point. British mapping in 1976. Named after the ancient Roman town of Transmarisca in Northeastern Bulgaria.
