This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 2.85 km wide cove indenting for 1 km the NW coast of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands. Entered NE of Smilets Point and SW of Retamales Point. British mapping in 1968. Named after John Hall of the British Antarctic Survey, for his support for the Bulgarian Antarctic programme.
