This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to 1400 m at the S extremity of Ravelin Ridge on Clarence Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 2 km NNE of Mount Llana and 5 km S of Humble Point. Surmounts Treskavets Glacier to the NE and Highton Glacier to the SE. Connected to Mount Llana by Soyka Saddle. British mapping in 1972 and 2009. Named after the Spanish mariner Gregorio Jerez who made the second sighting of Roch‚ Island (South Georgia, named by him Isla San Pedro) in 1756.
