This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered buttress rising to 1800 m at the NE extremity of Herbert Plateau on Danco Coast in Graham Land. Situated between upper Bl‚riot Glacier and upper Cayley Glacier, 17.3 km SE of Brabazon Point, 10 km S of Mount Morton, 14.45 km SW of Mount Berry, and 6.85 km N of Molerov Spur on Nordenskj"ld Coast. Steep and partly ice-free W, N and E slopes. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Obretenik in Northeastern Bulgaria.
